The project scope included installation of 14,500 MT LPG Import off-shore storage facility complete with single buoy mooring vessels, LPG subsea and inland pipeline, common user manifold, 500 MT mounded LPG onshore storage, four truck loading gantries, complete offices/buildings and associated civil, mechanical and electrical works, future designs and cost estimates for expansion of the facility for LPG cylinder filling plant and rail siding.
KTL scope of work included feasibility study, preliminary layout design, project design specifications, bill of quantities, bill of materials, tender evalaution and analysis, contract documentation, mechanical and electrical designs construction supervision
The project consisted of a tank Farm Concept Design for a mounded bullet LPG tank farm with 4 Truck loading points. The tank farm had 4 x 2000MT LPG tanks mounded under Earth and concrete. KTL successfully completed the pipeline concept design, risk assessment of the tank farm, approval of the concept from all the regulatory bodies (Change of User, Approval of building plans by county government) for this Project.
The project scope involved upgrade of the existing service station to a flagship Government project. This entailed remodeling of the existing service station for full utility of the land space available which included construction of a modernized restaurant, convenience shop, modernized office space, tire bay ,service bay, curio shops, lavatory facility with eco-friendly waste management system.
The project activities undertaken by KTL included feasibility studies, topo surveys, ESIA studies, project preliminary and detailed designs, tender documentation and tender analysis, obtaining building approvals, construction supervision and commissioning.
The scope of work for the project included demolition of existing bitumen plant, procurement and Installation of 2 x 55 tons LPG tanks and cylinder filling facility complete with accessories, cylinder decanting facility, firefighting system, complete office block, truck and rail off-loading facilities, electrical installation, generator shed, fire equipment shed, data communication between electronic weighing and Office block with remote automated operation control system
KTL scope of works included Project management, Preliminary and detailed designs, cost estimates, Environmental Impact Assessment study, obtaining building approvals, bill of quantities, bill of materials, tender documentations, tender analysis and construction supervision.
We took part in the design, preparation of project cost estimates, obtaining approvals and construction supervision of the Strategic Oil Storage Depot at Konza. KTL also carried out a comprehensive Environment and Social Impact Assessment for the project.
KTL successfully completed a full ESIA study for 100 MW wind power Plant and Transmission line in Kajiado Kenya. The ESIA Study was undertaken in accordance with the IFC’s Environmental and Social Performance Standards and included the following specialized studies: Bat and Bird study, Visual Impact Assessment, Ecological Study, Nosie study and Social Impact Assessment.
