ESIA study for construction of a 400kV overhead transmission line between Mbeya and Sumbawanga (340km long) in Tanzania.

KTL was awarded a contract by Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) to validate the existing ESIA study for the proposed construction of a 400kV overhead transmission line between Mbeya and Sumbawanga (340km long) in Tanzania. The ESIA was undertaken to ensure compliance with the requirements of the latest Tanzanian environmental legislation and the World Bank Group E&S safeguard policies.
